Can I use a Android device as a backup MIDI controller alongside my main MIDI controller in Avenue? I'm not sure if they will conflict with each other.

By back up I mean both together. I want to trigger the video footage before I walk on stage where my midi controller is, and that is my main controller.

I seen that but I think it's a little complicated. Is there a specific app I should use. And or step by step tutorial. I'm new to this and can really use the help.
I was trying to use TouchOSC but I was having problems trying to get Resolume to recognize the commands.
