Advanced output and test card

Post by ulisses »

Hello,

Should test card output to all displays at same time in advanced output?
Im asking because sometimes I can output the test card in all outputs and sometimes not.
Output in resolume window shows the test card, but projectors outputs are white or black ( ati hd 7800 eyeinfinity 6)
If i reset the displays setup, inside advanced window, it shows all test cards.

Thanks,
Ulisses

Yes, the test card sized to the resolution of your composition outputs to all slices.

Keep in mind you will see only the section that is selected in the [Input Selection] and it will be affected by the settings in [Output Transformation] and the [Soft Edge] parameters.

and layer routed slices don't display the rest card.

I read your post again...
could be a driver issue, if the same output setup sometimes shows white slice,
also look at the memory footprint of resolume (ram) it shouldn't be near 1.8-2GB.

I was testing with 5 projectors and default setup, one slice per projector covering the whole area.
Test card always show per projector (ctrl shift 2, 3, etc) but when I enter advanced it shows white in all projectors and slice adjust window is dimmed.
If I reset slices to default again, test card shows in all projectors at same time.
I'll test drivers, just found that when using 2 projectors it works.

Tks!
