short clip restarting?

I have some short clips which were converted to dxv from png, an they are <1s length.
I set them to hold last frame, then after some time holding(I didn't count but it could be a few minutes), I see the playhead jump back to start and playing again.
I don't know if it's just the playhead, or the clip is actually playing again as my clips are still images.
I don't touch anything when that happens.

I don't know what to tell you. Just spent 30 minutes watching your still and nothing's happening.

It's really highly unlikely that Res would restart a clip when you leave it alone. Are you sure there aren't any outside triggers coming in?

If you're sure this is a problem on our end, maybe you can test it in a sandboxed fresh comp, without any OSC wizardry running in the background. If it's doing it still, I'll happily recreate your setup and sit and watch it again.
