Layer Play Random Clip button

Layer Play Random Clip button or maybe a toggle that will allow for the Play Next Clip and Play Previous Clip buttons in transport controls to be Play Random Clip buttons

Blank source with auto pilot set to random clip, and short duration

That's how I'm currently doing it but if I put in any transition time at all, it transitions to black and then transitions from black, when changing clips.

Edit: I'm sorry, I didn't have the Blank Source, just a black image. Let me mess with this for a bit.

Edit 2: Still can't use transitions, just fades to black and fades in from black

+1 for random clip trigger on layer. I use this method with the blank clip set to random but it does fade out to black before playing the random clip when transition slider is set to anything other than 0

Or some workaround that allows for transitions and transition effects to be used on Random Clips.........
