I'm trying to set up the XY Pad in Touch OSC to control the X and Y parameters of a source or effect so I can be more fluid and creative with my control movements.
Can anyone explain how to do this?
I've been able to set up fader signals with Touch OSC (using OSC messages) but I don't seem to be able to get the XY Pad to work. I know it's possible because Mark from the Resolume team has been able to do it but I'm new to TouchOSC (never used OSC before) so I'm a bit clueless.
I'm currently using Touch OSC and Resolume on the same computer but might try using my android phone or a tablet. Another question would be that it could be risky connecting via WIFI, so what kind of phone or tablet would I need to be able to control using TouchOSC with a wired (presumably USB) connection?
I have a Windows 10 laptop which I'm running Resolume on.
