Re: Very poor performance and high gpu usage on fullscreen mode
Try making the external display primary in the Windows display settings, and start Resolume.
Then move it to the integrated laptop screen, and enable output to the external display.
How is FPS and performance this way?
I did that and it worked, I am getting 95fps with VSync off and steady 60 ...

Yes it is set to run and render on the dedicated gpu, I have used this computer for a while, I just started getting this with the latest update.

Very poor performance and high gpu usage on fullscreen mode
I have updated my GTX970M laptop as well as my 1070 and on both I am getting mediocre performance when I go full screen. This issue only happens on full screen, when I toggle windowed mode it runs smoothly, around 75/80(on the 970M) and then I toggle full screen it goes to mid 30s with a lot of ...

Re: Good Laptop / Graphic card
I just got a refurb razer blade 15 with a gtx 1070 max-q for 1600USD on ebay and this thing absolutely CRUSHES anything I put on it, I just tested with an 8k composition with 2 outputs and I got steady 70 to 80 fps with the vsync off and using 8k content. It's a VERY compact machine, almost as ...

Re: New gig computer build - Thoughts?
Why don't you just go straight to the i5 8400 since you're already spending money on a Z270 mobo? The performance of the 8400 is similar to the i7 7700k, due to it's higher core counter, as it has 6 cores opposed to the 4 cores of your current i5, the 8th gen of intel cpu is a beast cause they are ...

Re: Display blinking with 3 outputs using Ryzen and AMD RX580
I should have specified it's a problem with *some* AMD cards. Windows will be able to access each monitor just fine. But the moment we try to span an OpenGL context over all the outputs, they get very confused and start blinking.
We had a setup with the problem in the office for a while. We had a ...

Re: Display blinking with 3 outputs using Ryzen and AMD RX580
I am just returning the cards and getting the gtx 1070's instead That's a decision you won't regret!

Re: Display blinking with 3 outputs using Ryzen and AMD RX580
This is a problem with creating a spanning OpenGL context over two AMD cards. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.
One thing you can try is to create an Eyefinity group containing all the displays, and then use Arena's advanced output to assign the individual outputs.
Oooh, it's ...

Display blinking with 3 outputs using Ryzen and AMD RX580
Hello,
I have been trying a new build, this time I am using and AMD Ryzen 7 1700 and a crossfire rx 580, I have tried hooking up 3 outputs, but whenever I try to set them up on the advanced output, resolume instant starts to blink when I activate the 3rd output, the fps drop to around 5, and all ...
