Hi everyone,
I'm wondering what the simplest and best way is to manipulate a video feed coming from a Macbook Pro's display port and feeding it into another laptop for manipulation with Resolume.
I'm going to be using 2 laptops:
- 1 Macbook Pro is generating some video signals using an infrared ...

DXV Files Not Playing Properly
Hi, I exported all my footage to DXV, and first I noticed all 16:9 was squished to 4:3 and nothing could fix that,
second I noticed all my DXV files playing back distorted in Resolume - see image below:
here's what i mean (image attached)

Re: good projector for less than 1000$?
that's a good question, i'd imagine whichever projector has the best contrast and strongest lamp for the price would work well for VJing... as most of the cheaper ones are 800x600 or higher
u can check out CNET for reviews, and obviously google

VST Parameter Linking/MIDI/Presets Q + Bugs
Hi,
1. Is it possible to link a single parameter in a VST effect to multiple dashboard Dials (which are linked to MIDI) but cannot figure out how to do this, there's nothing in the manual that i could find about linking a parameter to multiple dials. (you can only a specific parameter to 1 dial ...

Re: Processor activity
hmm... my only guess is the 1 GB ram could be too low, maybe bump it up to 2GB and see if that helps?
is there a lot of hard drive activity? is the mouse the only thing that's not smooth"? how bout the clips, are the effects / transitions smooth?
also, are you running XP? Vista is not very good ...

Re: i used avenue all night and it was awesome!
Hi, how did you manage to do 8 hours when every ten seconds the program will say "RESOLUME AVENUE" in that vocoded robot voice? How do you remove that voice?
whoops, nevermind, i'm dumb. You buy a serial to remove it

USB Audio Interfaces & Audio FFT Not Working?
I'm trying to get my USB 2.0 e-mu 0404 to output the audio from a DJing program (Traktor) and for Resolume's Audio FFT to analyze it as well.
But it seems I can only get the dinky internal soundcard in my laptop to be recognized by the Audio FFT in Resolume, and not the USB audio interface.

Laptop Graphics?
Does graphics power make a difference with resolume?
For example, will a laptop with say an nvidia 8400m out perform one with an intel x3100 in Resolume?
Or is it entirely processor / ram / hard drive RPM that makes the biggest impact?
Thanks
