Re: Multiple layers as only one layer
Sorry if I wasn't specific enough. I have an APC40 mkII. As you know, it has a gridded layout of the midi buttons 5 x 8. I would like to assign the clips where layers 3-5 are considered one entire layer. That way when I trigger a clip on layer 5 and then trigger a clip on layer 3, it will show on ...

Multiple layers as only one layer
Is there anyway to assign clips to the grid accordingly to the grid lay out we have on our midi controller and only have it as one layer?
For ex:
I want all these clips to be just one layer.
Thank you!

Hey @nickjones26 were you ever able to figure this out for yourself? I'm on the stage trying to get what you were trying too.

Can you tell me how to go about it? I've been trying to figure this out for hours but still can't seem to figure it out. I saw another post like mine where you also commented:

Re: Assigning different transitioning styles to midi shortcuts
I'm new to Resolume so there's so much to learn, there are things I want to ask and there are even more questions that I don't know I will have yet. Said that, I will do my own research and self learning as much as I can before I ask any more. Thank you for this lead of information!

Assigning different transitioning styles to midi shortcuts
Is there a way where I can assign midi buttons with different triggering styles of clips?
For example: one button can toggle for pure "piano mode" and another button can toggle for clip transitioning where the clips snap on full instantly and then fade out over 1s after the clip is released.
