Recording in resolume - does the quality get worse?
This is something that I feel i should know but don't, so i thought i'd ask...
I use mostly 320x240 MJPEG clips in resolume (yes i know - slow PC!), and often record in resolume to create new clips or longer mixed sequences.
Does the clip quality on the recordings get worse when i record using ...

Re: Editing .dck files
It opened fine, I changed the file paths to the files ok, then saved (tried 'save as' as well as overwriting the deck file). But they wouldnt open in resolume, so I guess they were corrupted

Clip playback stutters/jerky - big gig soon - please help!
I had to have my laptop formatted after a bad virus, so im working with a fresh install of everything, trying to recover my resolume setup. Everything worked brilliantly on this machine before it went in the shop..

Re: Editing .dck files
Thanks Edwin.
I had such high hopes for that fixer, it would have been a lifesaver- but unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I would be interested if someone else could also test it out and let us know if they managed to get it working.

Re: Editing .dck files
I'm bumping this thread as I have the same problem - does anyone have any fresh ideas? I have loads of decks that I'm very happy with, and to re-do them all would take many hours.
I too have tried opening them in notepad or wordpad, editing the filepaths (there are about 15 to change) and then ...

Re: Why do clips 'freeze' for a second when triggered?
Thanks for the replies. No im not using quicktime. All my clips are compressed with Morgan MJPEG and only 320x240 so not a big drain on the juice, and I guess they are played back with the same? I don't know about playback - I'd always assumed it was the same.

Why do clips 'freeze' for a second when triggered?
I have a new laptop.. Instead of being instant when triggered (which they were on my old laptop), my clips now freeze for half a second before playing. It's bad enough to make it unusable live.
My old laptop did this for a while until I learnt to disable my virus software. But even with no virus ...

Saving resolume decks onto a memory stick?
Is it possible to save decks onto a portable flash memory stick?
I often VJ using other peoples laptops. I run my content off a fast 8gb stick, but would like to save the decks onto it too, to save setting them up every time i use a different machine.
Can anyone help?
