Could you please use the crash reporter dialog that pops up after the crash to submit a crash report?
That way we get lot more detailed information about what went wrong exactly.

4k mov files causes crash on pc
Trying to take mkv files into dxv eventually...
tried using obs to turn them into mp4's
then i bought winx hd - i assumed turning them into movs would be the logical step
both alley and resolume crash when i try to load the clip

I have 4 layers
each layer is a series of 20 or so short video clips in a specific color to drive some FX panels

How did I have it working before then? I had all 4 outputs of the quadro pro working with the desktop on my motherboard hdmi. update... by going to only nvidea outputs it works.. the problem seems to be the motherboard hdmi.. if i use it for console res crashes.
