Documentary exploring VJ culture: Ctrl Alt Shift
Ctrl Alt Shift is a very nice 10 minute documentary showing interviews and works from The Light Surgeons, D-Fuse, Hexstatic, VJ Anyone, Addictive TV, Vector Meldrew, and Fatamorgana. It shows their perspective of VJ-ing, it's context and contributes to the ever on going discussion: Is it Art?
Resolume workshop in Rome at Live Performance Meeting 2009
Edwin is flying to Rome this weekend for a [s]romantic weekend with his girlfriend[/s] Resolume 3 workshop on Saturday at 18:00. The workshop will be 1 hour long and if you feed him enough beer he might show you some of the new features *Flash* we're working on.
Projection Product Of The Year 2009 in Live Design Magazine
Resolume 3 was chosen Projection Product Of The Year in Live Design Magazine "This new version of the super-popular VJ media server has 80% of the functionality of higher-end servers, plus candy they wish they had, like beat detection, refined video scratching, auto clip-looping to audio length, and an unbelievably beautiful and efficient new QuickTime codec that allows it to mix dozens of HD layers."
Benelux Resolume Distributor: Media Satellite
The deal is closed, negotiations are done, contracts are signed, hands are shaken, champagne bottles popped. It's official. Media Satellite is now distributor for Resolume in the Benelux. That's The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg for those not familiar with european geography. We are very happy to expand our network with Media Satellite because they are not just a great distributor for Ableton, Propellerhead, IK Multimedia, Tischmeyer and ASK Video. But they are also very active in marketing events and education. Checkout the Media Satellite website and the boxed Resolume 3.

Resolume Workshop on Mapping Festival (Sat 16th May)
The Mapping festival is already in full swing for about a week and we're also flying to Geneva this weekend to do a workshop. We're excited to finally meet the guys from Modul8, they are one of the few VJ software developers we have never met before. If you're in the neighborhood, come see all the performances, join the workshops or participate in the VJ battle!
Jetzt geht der Spaß erst richtig los
Very comprehensive German review of Resolume 3 on amazona.de. "Hier zeigt sich deutlich, was man beim Entdecken des Programms immer wieder feststellt: Die meisten Funktionen sind schnell verstanden, bieten aber eine solche Flexibilität, dass man sich tagelang nur damit beschäftigen kann, seine Komposition einzurichten. Diese Freiheit stellt einen Quantensprung in der Entwicklung von Resolume dar und ist allein schon Grund genug, einen sehr genauen Blick auf Avenue zu wagen."
