Re: Clip Triggering with Midi - newbie

In order to trigger the clips in resolume using midi the controller has to be sending midi note messages that correspond to the clip slots. I haven't got resolume on this machine but if I remember correctly it is easy to change the midi note that each clip slot is assigned to. Open the preferences ...

The only way to get a midi clock signal from a dj is to connect a hardware bpm analyser like the Red Sound Soundbite micro to the output of the audio mixer, and feed the midi clock to the machine running Resolume. It has push and pull buttons to nudge the bpm in time with the audio and even a ...

I had the same problem with my uc16 and search on the forum lead me to these instructions which work for both the 16 and 33.

Ok, in order to use the Buttons on the UC33 Midi-Controller in Resolume (for playing Clips, bypassing effect layers etc.) you need to assign them to notes. Therefore you've ...

I'm not sure the M-Audio X-Session Pro would be very good for resolume as it is laid out like a dj mixer and is designed for use with dj software like Traktor. I have the Evolution X-Session which is the older version which I would recommend as a cheap controller as it has 16 knobs, 10 buttons and a ...

I had the same problem with my friends laptop running Vista and the 2.4 demo, every time I tried to setup an output to a tv monitor the laptop restarted itself. The laptop is a cheap model with an integrated graphics card so I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel and I was able to setup Resolume ...

Dual monitor problems

I have finally managed to get a friend interested in VJing and Resolume after showing him what can be done. He has installed the demo of 2.41 which works reasonably well considering the low spec of his laptop, but when I try to set up a full screen output to a tv monitor via s-video the laptop ...

Most of the time yes 100% wet but with the global effects at the moment you can fade them in and out smoothly from 0 to 100%. Sometimes I like using rect field about 50% with feedback in the top layer. My suggestion would allow you to apply global effects to individual layers even if you only used ...
