I'm starting to wonder if my issues with Resolume itself and the issues I've posted about DXF codec are one in the same? (http://resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7072&p=26717#p26717)
The crashes seem to be fairly similar in frequency and manner whether i am VJ'ing or converting videos in any ...

Re: Still consistent crashes on Macbook Pro
Also I would say the duration of the beachball and the probability of subsequent crash seems to be proportionate to the number of video clips in the deck in question.

Can't get Trigger Finger to map
I have an M-Audio Trigger Finger. I can't get any MIDI mapping to respond. It shows in the OSX MIDI Device utility and I get messages scrolling in a MIDI Monitor utility I run. But Resolume seems to have no sign of it, other than it shows in the MIDI Pref panel (and is checked off).

DXV batch failures
I am finding that batching clips to Quicktime DXV's in Compressor results in a non-descript failure. Using the regular 'Batch Export' feature in Final Cut Pro causes FCP to crash (poof) when exporting to DXV. I am using FCP 6.0.6.

Still consistent crashes on Macbook Pro
The last time I seriously had time to dig into Resolume and prepare an actual performance Avenue was still 3.0. Or at least that's what I had installed... We're talking this time last year I'd say. During that session it consistently crashed multiple times.

Velocity control
Is there a way to map MIDI velocity control to, say... Opacity and/or Volume?
If there is initially someway to map it to a dashboard knob, then I suppose a knob with both opacity and volume would do the trick...

In/Out Point control.. Precision.. MIDI control...
Is there any way to more precisely set the in and out point of a clip? ie. use the cursor keys or the like to nudge it left or right by, say.. one frame at a time?
If not, would you consider adding this?
Alternately is there a way to do precise zooming on a portion of a clip waveform while setting ...

How do you all lay your clips out (assuming each clip is one song/music video)?

Codec for Dual-Booting
If I want to work with Resolume Avenue in both OSX and Windows, can I render video files to Quicktime Photo JPEG and use them effectively for both?
