more more more ... footage!
We have just added another new SOURCE footage DVD to our shop: Spin and it's hot hot hot!
Spin the dvd, the visuals, the turntables, the crowd into a frenzy. Precisely choreographed visual clips blend the gritty reality of live video with the fluidity of motion normally reserved for computer generated graphics. A constantly revolving camera creates an immersive 3D effect in environments ranging from deep forest, to the majestic parks of Vienna, to the urban minimalism of a parking lot.

more info here: www.infim.com/interactivity05/
Interactivity 05 is a cutting edge festival with interactive installations, performances, electro-acoustic improvised & composed music, lectures, DJs and VJs. The festival is part of a collaboration between the three cities The Hague, Berlin (Total Music Meeting/Wolfgang Fuchs) and Rome (Controindicazioni/Fabrizio Spera). The main goal of the Interactivity Festivals is to bring several disciplines in the field of experimental, composed & improvised music, visual arts and theory together in The Hague and to create a like-minded platform for artists, musicians and theorists. Oriented this year towards the opening of Studio LOOS at DCR, the festival aims to be a place where experiments and the development of new concepts in the arts can be experienced.

Hotel = Big Screen
We were commissioned by our friends from LUST to help turn a hotel into a video screen. We are placing a DMX controlled moving head in front of the window of 49 rooms to create a 7x7 'pixel' screen. Edwin wrote some custom software that analyses the colours of a 7x7 pixel flash movie and then sends DMX signals to each light to make them chance colour. Loads of fun to make and we just can't wait to see it in action. The installation is part of the TodaysArt festival (we also made the CMS for this website) and it is running from 20:00 to 01:00 this friday and saturday on the Mercure hotel (Spui plein) in The Hague.
